Personality Bio

Hometown: I like to consider myself a Texan. I have lived literally all over the state, though I happily call Austin home now.

Personal: Married- Annie Son- Jake Dogs- Bailey and Bandit

Why radio?: I sort of fell into this gig. I never had plans to be a radio guy, since I went to school for music, but once I started doing it, I realized how much fun it could be.

I love my job because... I get to work around something I love (sports) and get a chance to be creative and entertaining every day (or at least try). Ive also worked some pretty tough jobs in my life, Roughnecking on an offshore drilling rig and serving 4 years in the US Army Infantry (101st Airborne), so it is nice to always work in the air conditioning.

I sometimes hate my job because... people take sports, which should be a fun thing, way too seriously or take things I say on the air personally.

Favorite sports memories... 1993 Buffalo Bills playoff comeback on the Oilers. IN PERSON- UT-USC Rose Bowl. I was so close on the sideline I could have reached out and slapped Vince on the backside on his way into the end-zone, and Nolan Ryan beating down Robin Ventura.

Sports pet peeves... When people try to convince me that a sport that I don't care for is really great (soccer, NASCAR, Women's hoops). I don't like it for a reason, and you aren't going to convince me otherwise.
